Stockholmsb\u00f6rsens breda index, som visade p\u00e5 negativ \u00e5rsutveckling s\u00e5 sent som i slutet av oktober, steg n\u00e4rmare 20 % under november och december. Sm\u00e5bolag och fastighetsaktier, som haft ett besv\u00e4rligt \u00e5r, steg kraftigt. Huvudorsaken till det positivare hum\u00f6ret \u00e4r fortsatt avtagande inflation, hopp om kommande r\u00e4ntes\u00e4nkningar och en god konjunktur. F\u00f6ruts\u00e4ttningarna \u00e4r dock fortsatt besv\u00e4rliga f\u00f6r m\u00e5nga f\u00f6retag och hush\u00e5ll och det glada hum\u00f6ret kan mycket v\u00e4l komma att skifta igen. Fr\u00e5n centralbankernas sida valde b\u00e5de FED och ECB att l\u00e4mna styrr\u00e4ntor of\u00f6r\u00e4ndrade. Fed talade om eventuella r\u00e4ntes\u00e4nkningar och \u00e4ven Riksbanken var mjukare i sin kommunikation.
