Den geopolitiska os\u00e4kerheten \u00f6kade ytterligare i och med h\u00e4ndelserna i Israel och Palestina och risken f\u00f6r att fler stater skulle komma att involveras skapade ytterligare oro. Priset p\u00e5 b\u00e5de guld och olja steg initialt men r\u00f6relserna var sedermera m\u00e5ttliga. I Europa l\u00e4t ECB styrr\u00e4ntorna vara of\u00f6r\u00e4ndrade vilket ocks\u00e5 var v\u00e4ntat. Den europeiska ekonomin f\u00f6rsvagades samtidigt som inflationen faller, dock kommunicerades inga planer p\u00e5 r\u00e4ntes\u00e4nkningar. I USA steg den 10-\u00e5riga statsobligationen till 5 % vilket inte h\u00e4nt sedan 2007. M\u00e5nga bolag har l\u00e4mnat sina kvartalssiffror under m\u00e5naden.
