Europeiska b\u00f6rser h\u00f6ll emot v\u00e4l men amerikanska b\u00f6rser och tillv\u00e4xtmarknader f\u00f6ll tillbaka. Huvudsakligen kan det lite tristare b\u00f6rsklimatet bero p\u00e5 en fortsatt stark global konjunktur, stark arbetsmarknad och inflationssiffror som f\u00f6rblir h\u00f6ga vilket tillsammans talar f\u00f6r fortsatta r\u00e4nteh\u00f6jningar fr\u00e5n centralbankerna. I USA b\u00f6rjade skuldtaket \u00e5ter diskuteras \u2013 f\u00f6r att undvika att USA tvingas st\u00e4lla in betalningar beh\u00f6ver taket h\u00f6jas. Det brukar ske men kan skapa en del os\u00e4kerhet fram tills det \u00e4r gjort. Den amerikanska centralbanken, Fed, och europeiska ECB, h\u00f6jde sina styrr\u00e4ntor med 0,25 respektive 0,50 procentenheter. FED signalerade att framtida f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar baseraras p\u00e5 inkommande data medan ECB planerar en ytterligare h\u00f6jning i mars. F\u00f6r svensk del valde den nye riksbankschefen, Erik Thed\u00e9en, att h\u00f6ja r\u00e4ntan med 0,50 procentenheter.
