H\u00f6ga inflationssiffror \u00f6kar risken f\u00f6r r\u00e4nteh\u00f6jningar vilket i sin tur kan f\u00e5 ekonomin att kastas in i en l\u00e5gkonjunktur. B\u00e5de den amerikanska centralbanken och Riksbanken h\u00f6jde ocks\u00e5 sina styrr\u00e4ntor \u2013 0,75% i USA och 0,50% i Sverige. De finansiella marknaderna vill nu se tecken p\u00e5 att inflationstakten mattas av samt f\u00e5 viss guidning om f\u00f6retagens framtidstro i och med rapporterna f\u00f6r kvartal 2. Nya nedst\u00e4ngningar i Kina p\u00e5 grund av Covid-utbrott bidrog ocks\u00e5 till det negativa hum\u00f6ret. Samtidigt som oron f\u00f6r recession har \u00f6kat \u00e4r arbetsmarknaden fortsatt stark. V\u00e5r f\u00f6rhoppning \u00e4r att h\u00f6ga energi- och matpriser i kombination med h\u00f6gre bor\u00e4ntor redan kyler ner ekonomin och de f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntade framtida r\u00e4nteh\u00f6jningarna inte blir verklighet. Konsumenten kan d\u00e5 bibeh\u00e5lla delar av sin k\u00f6pkraft, f\u00f6retagen se fortsatt stark efterfr\u00e5gan och arbetsl\u00f6sheten h\u00e5llas l\u00e5g \u2013 en h\u00e5rdlandning av ekonomin kan d\u00e5 undvikas.
