Hysterin kring Gamestop och andra blankade bolag avtog och hopp om \u00f6kad vaccinationstakt bidrog till optimismen. Mot mitten av m\u00e5naden v\u00e4nde dock marknaderna ner. En oro \u00f6ver en tredje v\u00e5g av smittspridning och fortsatta nedst\u00e4ngningar p\u00e5verkade hum\u00f6ret negativt men framf\u00f6rallt var den utl\u00f6sande faktorn stigande r\u00e4ntor och r\u00e4dsla f\u00f6r en \u00f6kad inflation. Den amerikanska 10-\u00e5riga statsobligationen steg till \u00f6ver 1,5% fr\u00e5n att vid \u00e5rsskiftet legat p\u00e5 under 1 %. Tillv\u00e4xtbolag, som p\u00e5verkas mer av en h\u00f6gre r\u00e4nteniv\u00e5, s\u00e5g relativt kraftiga nedg\u00e5ngar. Vi \u00e4r dock tveksamma till en allm\u00e4nt stigande inflation \u2013 digitalisering och globalisering h\u00e5ller nere prisutvecklingen och en \u00f6kad arbetsl\u00f6shet inom enklare yrken och servicen\u00e4ringen motverkar l\u00f6neinflation. Centralbanker v\u00e4rlden \u00f6ver \u00e4r dessutom fortsatt m\u00e5na om att h\u00e5lla r\u00e4ntorna l\u00e5ga vilket talar f\u00f6r en gynnsam milj\u00f6 f\u00f6r aktier.
